The Valencia College District Board of Trustees will consider adoption and repeal of the proposed rule listed below, for which the notices of rule development were published in June 3 2026, June 29, 2026, August 11, 2026, June 24, 2026, and June 3, 2026, editions of the Orlando Sentinel, respectively, at a public meeting to be held as follows:

College Policy 6Hx28: 3C-04.2 Credit for Prior Experience and Service at the College on the Instructional Salary Schedule

College Policy 6Hx28: 3C-08 Total Rewards: Employee Benefits

College Policy 6Hx28: 3C-14 401(a) Retirement Plan and 403(b) & 457(b) Special Pay Plans

College Policy 6Hx28: 3F-05.2 Abandonment of Position and/or Inability to Return to Work

College Policy 6Hx28: 10-9 Child Abuse Reporting

REPEAL RULE TITLE: College Policy 6Hx28: 3C-15 403(b) Qualified Retirement Plan

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: Amend the above referenced policies to comply with current laws and regulations and improve institutional effectiveness.

Repeal of College Policy 6Hx28: 3c-15 403(b) Qualified Retirement Plan, is deemed appropriate as inconsistent and obsolete.
