NOTICE TO RECEIVE SEALED BIDS

The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in providing materials for and installation of the:

WASHINGTON GYM FLOORING

This project includes the demolition of the existing playing surface and ancillary areas (+/- 5650 SF) at 401 Peters St, Port St Joe, FL 32465. Then purchase, delivery and installation of new interlocking, wood grain tile system for a seamless playing surface. 12"x12" tile system shall be high impact polypropylene construction with a factory applied polyurethane finish. Playing surface shall have a maple finish, areas around the playing surface shall be colors of the owner's choice with the words "Washington Gym" down the sidelines. Center court will have a tiger head logo; depiction provided by owner. Flooring system must have a variable underlayment for shock absorption. Court to be striped for basketball and volleyball as well. Potential bidders are encouraged to visit the site to familiarize themselves with the project.

Please place YOUR COMPANY NAME, SEALED BID, and the BID NUMBER on the outside of your envelope and include the original bid plus 2 copies.

Bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time on October 15, 2026, at the Gulf County Clerk's Office, 1000 Cecil G. Costin Sr. Blvd, Room 149, Port St. Joe, Florida 32456, and will be opened and read aloud at a public meeting held in the Donald H. Butler Commission Chamber in the Robert M. Moore Administration Building, Gulf County Courthouse Complex, Port St. Joe, Florida on October 15, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Bids may be submitted electronically through the County's online bidding platform at https://www.centralauctionhouse.com/SignIn?redirect=/Category/10885/GulfCounty. Electronic bids must be received by the system prior to the bid deadline. The time recorded by the system shall be the official time of receipt. Late submissions will not be accepted. Paper-sealed bids may also be submitted to the Clerk's Office as described above.

Bid specifications can be obtained on the County's website www.gulfcounty-fl.gov or through the Gulf County Clerk's Office. All bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. All questions must be submitted to Clay Kennedy at ckennedy@gulfcounty-fl.gov.

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in the best interest of Gulf County.
