PUBLIC ADJUSTING SERVICES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Dixie County, Florida, is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified public adjusting firms to provide professional public adjusting services for County-owned or insured buildings, contents, equipment, and other covered property. Services may include handling existing, supplemental, reopened, and future insurance claims as assigned by the County in writing.

SCOPE OF SERVICES & REQUIREMENTS:

The selected firm will review insurance policies, inspect and document property damage, prepare itemized estimates, assist with proofs of loss, negotiate with insurers, and coordinate with County staff, legal counsel, and grant consultants. All proposing firms must be properly licensed and appointed in the State of Florida pursuant to Chapter 626, Florida Statutes, and must maintain required statutory bonding, general liability, professional liability, and workers’ compensation coverage. Proposals must include a single proposed contingency fee percentage. The contract award will be governed by the evaluation criteria set forth in the RFP.
