NOTICE OF BID

Grace & Naeem Uddin, Inc., the Construction Manager for the project, is soliciting bids from qualified subcontractors and vendors for The Miami-Dade County Public Schools' Miami Lakes K-8 Center GOB Renovations (M-DCPS Project #02695500), located at 14250 NW 67th Ave, Miami Lakes, FL 33014. The project consists of the Re-roofing of Building 2, (4) Classrooms & (2) Gang Restrooms Renovation in Building 2, new Masonry Opening and Storefront Window in the Cafeteria in Building 3, Miscellaneous Electrical Work, Replacement of the Lightning Protection System in Building 2, and a Campus-Wide SIEMENS Fire Alarm System Replacement. Trades required include, but are not limited to: Selective Demolition, Structural Concrete & Masonry, Misc. Steel, Millwork, Waterproofing, Roofing, Fire Stopping, Joint Sealants & Caulking, Glazing, Doors and Hardware, Stucco, Framing & Drywall, Interior Finishes, Painting, Specialties (Toilet Partitions, Toilet Accessories, Hand Dryers, Louvers), Signage, Plumbing, HVAC, Test & Balance, Electrical, Lightning Protection & Fire Alarm. A prequalification package is available for interested subcontractors and vendors by emailing bids@gnuinc.com. Construction is projected to start in the Second Quarter of 2027. Sealed Bids are being accepted from prequalified subcontractors and vendors on or before Tuesday November 10, 2026, by 3:00 PM. A Pre-bid on-site meeting is scheduled for Tuesday October 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM for the ARCH scope and at 12:00 PM for the MEP scope.
