REQUEST FOR BIDS

The Board of County Commissioners of Hamilton County, Florida, will receive sealed bids for the following repairs to the VFW building located at 11404 CR 6E, Jasper, Florida 32052:

· One 53" wide x 51"high window

· Approximately 25' of gutter guards

· All damaged brick - Brick dimension is 11"x4"x2.25"

· One wall panel 4' wide X 5' high

· Clean, Prep, Paint approximately 104 sf. Of exterior wall

· Replace 20' wide x 10' high kitchen drywall - Finish & Paint

· Replace approximately 100 sf of commercial grade floor tile - 12"x12"

· Remove & Replace metal door awning - 75" long x 38" wide

· Remove & Replace approximately 88' of metal gable roof trim

· Remove & Replace approximately 88' of metal facia

· Remove & Replace 9 sf of metal soffit - 6' long x 18" wide

· Remove & Replace 30' long x 4" dia. metal gutter

A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at the project site at 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. All persons intending to submit a bid MUST BE PRESENT at the pre-bid conference. BIDS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN TRIPLICATE, SEALED, AND CLEARLY MARKED "VFW BUILDING REPAIRS."

Bids must be received by the Office of the Clerk of Circuit Court, Hamilton County Courthouse, 207 NE First Street, Room 106, Jasper, Florida 32052, no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2026. Bids may be mailed or hand-delivered. Late bids will not be considered.

"A person or affiliate who has been placed on the convicted vendor list following a conviction for a public entity crime may not submit a bid on a contract to provide any goods or services to a public entity, may not submit a bid on a contract with a public entity for the construction or repair of a public building, or public work, may not submit bids on leases of real property to a public entity, may not be awarded or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under a contract with any public entity, and may not transact business with any public entity in excess of the threshold amount provided in Section 287.017, Florida Statutes, for CATEGORY TWO for a period of 36 months from the date of being placed on the convicted vendor list."
