REQUEST FOR BIDS

The Board of County Commissioners of Hamilton County, Florida, will receive sealed bids for the following repairs to the Hog Barn located at the Hamilton County Arena Complex, 1508 Martin Luther King Dr. SW, Jasper, Florida 32052:

- 2300 sq. ft. of metal roof panels

- 75 LF of galvanized ridge cap

- Replace all damaged and decayed wood

A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at the project site at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. All persons intending to submit a bid MUST BE PRESENT at the pre-bid conference. Bids submitted by persons not present will not be considered. The site is easily accessible. For directions, contact Maintenance Supervisor Brent McDonald at (386) 855-0241.

BIDS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN TRIPLICATE, SEALED, AND CLEARLY MARKED "HOG BARN REPAIRS."

Bids must be received by the Office of the Clerk of Circuit Court, Hamilton County Courthouse, 207 NE First Street, Room 106, Jasper, Florida 32052, no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2026. Bids may be mailed or hand-delivered. Late bids will not be considered.

The completion deadline is Friday, January 22, 2027.

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, with or without cause, and/or to accept the bid that, in its best judgment, is in the best interest of Hamilton County.

"A person or affiliate who has been placed on the convicted vendor list following a conviction for a public entity crime may not submit a bid on a contract to provide any goods or services to a public entity, may not submit a bid on a contract with a public entity for the construction or repair of a public building, or public work, may not submit bids on leases of real property to a public entity, may not be awarded or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under a contract with any public entity, and may not transact business with any public entity in excess of the threshold amount provided in Section 287.017, Florida Statutes, for CATEGORY TWO for a period of 36 months from the date of being placed on the convicted vendor list."
