The City of Sopchoppy is issuing this bid notice for construction services

related to the following project:

Project Title:

Sopchoppy Drainage Improvements

Location and Purpose of Proposed Work:

The proposed drainage improvements will involve the installation of

conveyance pipes and inlet structures along Gulf Street and Municipal

Avenue within the City of Sopchoppy. Two headwalls will be constructed

at the intersection of these roads to accommodate inflow from the

southeast. Three trench drains will also be constructed across residential

driveways to help capture stormwater runoff. This system will connect

to the existing drainage network, which flows to the Park Avenue outfall.

Grant Funding:

A Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) has been secured for

the construction of flood and drainage improvements. Funding for the

proposed project will be conditional upon compliance with all applicable

federal, tribal, state and local laws, regulations, floodplain standards,

permit requirements and conditions.
