Bear Lake Elementary School, Apopka, Florida - Early Work Package, Temporary Portable Installation

Project Summary: DACG, Inc. is soliciting pricing for the Early Work Package for Seminole County Public Schools at Bear Lake Elementary School, 3399 Gleaves Court, Apopka, FL 32703. The work includes relocating and installing 18 existing classroom portables with associated restrooms, foundations and anchorage, relocated and new walkway canopies, concrete sidewalks, emergency access improvements, fencing, grading and drainage, water and sanitary utilities, lift stations, underground fire-water improvements, electrical distribution, communications, public-address/bell systems, and fire alarm systems.

This is an occupied school campus. Include all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, delegated engineering, supervision, permits, testing, and inspections required by the construction documents. Coordinate work to maintain campus safety and operations. JLA badging requirements shall be confirmed in the bid documents.

Construction schedule: EARLY WORK START November 18, 2027 and COMPLETION DATE May 28, 2027.

Bid Pricing Solicitation: DACG, Inc. is requesting bid proposals from pre-qualified subcontractors for portable building relocation and installation; foundations and anchorage; aluminum walkway canopies; site clearing, selective demolition, earthwork, and dewatering; concrete sidewalks and site improvements; fencing and gates; domestic water, sanitary sewer, lift stations, storm drainage, and underground fire-water systems; plumbing connections; electrical; communications; public-address/bell systems; fire alarm; signage; and final cleaning. Include delegated design and testing applicable to each trade.

Site Walk and Pre-Bid Meeting: A site walk and pre-bid meeting will be held on October 5, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at Walker Elementary School, 3101 Snow Hill Rd, Chuluota, FL 32766. Attendees should meet in the main office. Attendance is NON-MANDATORY. Any visit to a portable building or canopy that requires access to school grounds must be coordinated through DACG.

RFIs & Suggestions: Submit technical questions and suggestions concerning scope or phasing by email to Ayanez@dacginc.com and Nthomas@dacginc.com no later than 10/7/2026. Provide questions in an editable format suitable for inclusion in an Excel RFI log. Bid documents, responses, and addenda will be distributed through PROCORE messaging.
