REQUEST FOR BID

The Board of County Commissioners of Bradford County, Florida is requesting competitive bids from qualified vendors for fire and life safety systems inspection, testing, maintenance, and monitoring services at certain Bradford County facilities.

BID ISSUED DATE: October 8, 2026

BID DUE DATE/TIME: October 28, 2026, 2:00 PM

SERVICES TO BEGIN: November 30, 2026

All vendors will be permitted to schedule site visits prior to submitting a bid. This should be scheduled through the Bradford County Fire Marshal at chris_cooksey@bradfordcountyfl.gov.

Instructions and bid forms can be picked up at the Bradford County Manager’s Office, Bradford County Courthouse, 945 N. Temple Avenue, Starke, Florida 32091 or from the county website at www.bradfordcountyfl.gov/bid-advertisements.

Bids must be physically delivered in sealed envelope marked “SEALED PROPOSAL FOR FIRE AND LIFE SAFETY SYSTEMS INSPECTION, TESTING, MAINTENANCE, AND MONITORING SERVICES” to the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court before October 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM. No faxed or emailed bids will be accepted.

Bids will be read aloud in the Bradford County Commission Meeting Room located in the Bradford County Courthouse – 945 N. Temple Avenue, Starke, FL 32091 on October 28, 2026, at 2:05 PM.

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, award all or part of the bid, waive any technicality with regard to the bids, exercise its local preference ordinance, and to interpret the bid specifications in the best interest of Bradford County.
