INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB)

The Town of Southwest Ranches, Florida, will receive sealed bids online via the Beacon Bid e-procurement portal until 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 12, 2026, at which time the system will publicly open and the Towns Procurement Officer will read the Bidder names aloud:

IFB 27-001 Drainage Improvements - SW 185 th Way & SW 57th Ct.

The Town is soliciting bids from qualified and experienced firms for all labor, materials, tools, equipment, machinery, expertise, services, and all else necessary and reasonably inferable from the Contract Documents for proper construction and completion of drainage improvements along SW 185th Way and SW 57th right-of-way to alleviate flooding in the Country Estates neighborhood by installing a positive connection to the SW 184th Avenue canal. The work shall include but not be limited to drainage improvements include roadside swales, manholes, catch basins (yard drains), piping, driveway restorations, brush clearing and swale regrading, and site restoration. No work shall be proposed outside of the Towns right-of-way or outside of the proposed designated drainage easement. All labor, equipment, and materials necessary to construct the improvements described by the Drawings and Project Specifications will be provided by the contractor. Construction of this Project will require close coordination with the Town and Engineer.

A Non-Mandatory PreBid Conference will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 2:00p.m. EST, at Town Hall 13400 Griffin Road, Southwest Ranches, FL 33330 (reference Beacon Bid portal for virtual join links).
