ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

TOWN OF ALFORD (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

PROJECT NAME: Town of Alford Water System Improvements Project 2025 ? CDBG-NR

Bids for the Project will be received at the Alford Town Hall ?1768 Georgia Street, Alford, FL 32420, until, Tuesday, December 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST. At that time, or shortly thereafter, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read in the Town Hall Meeting Room.

The Project includes the following Work: The Town of Alford Water System Improvements Project consists of the installation of approximately 1,200 linear feet of new 10-inch water main along Park Avenue/Holley Timber Road to connect to the existing well site. The work also includes the installation of valves, fire hydrants, meters, and other appurtenant components necessary for a complete and operational water system. Additional valving and metering improvements will be provided at the well site.

Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM ? 4:00 PM and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Pre-bid Conference

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Thursday, November 19th, at 10:30 AM CST at DHM Melvin Engineering Upstairs Conference Room, 4428 Lafayette Street, Marianna, Florida 32446.
