Invitation to Bid
Sealed bids will be received by the Office of Procurement Services, on behalf of the Lake County Board of County Commissioners, until 3:00 p.m. on December 3, 2026, for the furnishing of all services, labor, materials and equipment for the construction of the following project: CR 466A Fruitland Park Utility Project; Project No. 2027-02; Bid No. 27-607.
The CR 466A utility project is located within Lake County and consists of installing a combination of 4- to 12-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) or PVC water and/or wastewater force mains, along with associated fire hydrants, valves, and fittings. Existing utility lines will be removed as necessary. The project begins approximately 150 feet east of Timbertop Lane and ends approximately 350 feet east of Poinsettia Avenue, with a total project length of approximately 1.185 miles.
Concurrent with the utility improvements, Lake County will be widening County Road 466A from a two-lane undivided roadway to a four-lane divided roadway. Coordination between the utility and roadway projects will be critical to ensuring efficient construction, minimizing conflicts, and achieving the successful completion of both projects.
